Number of years riding: Lots! approximately 40+

Career accomplishments to date:  6 Olympic Games (3 as a rider, 3 as a coach) 3 World Equestrian Games, 4 World Cup Finals, 3 times Australian Champion (Show Jumping twice, Eventing once).  Only female rider in the world to compete in 2 different disciplines in Olympic Games (Eventing and show jumping).

How you got started in your event: Just loved riding horses

Favourite Ariat product (by name): Hard choice!  Probably zippered paddock boots.

Proudest career moment: Winning the Grand Prix of Rome (only Australian ever to do so) in front of 40,000 people in the Piazza di Siena arena in the middle of Rome on a thoroughbred I had produced myself from a 4 year old racetrack reject (APACHE in 1987).  

Tell us about your first horse: Hand me down jumping pony from my sister, called Gazelle, and that was how she jumped!  Very hot, but brave as a lion and taught me heaps.

You ride because: I love horses and working with them.

If you weren’t a professional rider, you would be a: A snow skier.

Favourite mentor or idol growing up: Bill Roycroft

Favourite place to travel: France.  

Favourite way to unwind outside the barn: Read a book.
